***I rate this book 4 stars***
A revengeful scare tactic goes wrong and ends in murder. It wasn’t suppose to happen. Now what? The stranger with the dog saw everything. He will go to the police. She had to run, had to escape. She was a young woman with her whole life to live. She wouldn’t go down for murder and definitely wouldn’t take the rap for two murders.
Josie was freaking out and her friend Snaz, who thought he was her boyfriend, didn’t know what to do. With the flee instinct in high gear, Josie fled England for Poland leaving Snaz behind to fend for himself.
While in Poland, Josie tries to carve out a new life for herself by lying. The thing with lying is that once the lie is told, it must be followed by additional lies to keep up the pretense. Then, one must be able to keep up with the lies they told and so goes the vicious cycle of lies.
With the fear of living a lie and being found out and a guilty conscience about the murders, will Josie find redemption? Or will she live the lie until her dying days?
