A: United States
Q: What is the title of your current book?
A: The one most appropriate for Christmas is “Street People Tales.”
Q: What holidays do you celebrate during this time of the year? Which one is your favorite and why?
A: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve–favorite would be Halloween, because the expectations are not as great, and I have no family tragedies that happened on Halloween.
Q: What colors would you use to describe the holiday season?
A: Halloween: orange and black; Thanksgiving: fall colors (oranges, yellows and browns); Christmas: red and gold (and green), New :Years: blue and silver.
Q: What is your favorite holiday movie & song?
A: Movie: White Christmas; song: Holly Jolly Christmas
Q: What is your favorite holiday book?
A: I can’t think of a book I consider a “holiday book”–I like to reread old childhood favorites like the Laura Ingalls Wilder series (especially The Long Hard Winter).
Q: What do you enjoy most/least about the holiday season?
A: Most: so many people being in a cheerful mood; least: crowded stores and over-hype in commercials.
Q: f you were given a superpower, as a gift for one day, what would it be and what would you do?
A: I would want the power to grant perfect understanding–to all the people of the world (i.e., the beauty pageant answer: world peace).
Q: Do you call the jolly old fat man – Santa Claus, St. Nick, Kris Kringle, or something else? If something else, what do you call him?
A: Mostly Santa Claus, but occasionally St. Nick.
A: Of course–the logistics management alone would be worth a trip–not to mention, a peek at the “naughty and nice” list.
Q: If time and money were no problem, where would you go and what would you do during this holiday season?
A: World tour–stopping off to meet my online writer friends along the way.
